Teachers & Education Professionals

Helping those who shape the future of our children.

Featured right now — August

August in West Michigan means classrooms getting set up, furniture getting moved, and a new year of standing all day on tile floors.

Teaching is a standing job with a sitting job attached to it — six hours on your feet, then grading hunched over a laptop at the kitchen table. Paras and special education staff add lifting, transfers, and floor work on top of that.

Start the school year in better shape than you finished the last one.

What the work does

Why this job shows up in your spine.

Every profession loads the body a specific way. Here's what we see most in this group.

Standing on tile

Hard floors with no give push load straight into the heels, knees, and low back.

Grading posture

Two hours a night at a laptop undoes whatever the school day didn't already do to your neck.

Room setup

Moving desks, bins, and boxes in August is the reason so many teachers start the year sore.

Questions

Teachers & education staff: common questions

Do bus drivers and custodians qualify?

Yes. Anyone who keeps a school running is included, not just classroom staff.

Can I come in before the school year starts?

Please do. Late-summer appointments are the easiest ones to get.

Who qualifies?

Anyone who is part of the community group we're currently featuring. Each month recognizes a different profession or role. Both new patients and existing Back To Health patients from that group are welcome to participate.

What does the visit cost?

New patients in the honored group get our $56 New Patient Special — consultation and exam, digital X-rays if clinically needed, and your report of findings. That's it. No deposit, no hidden fees, and nothing due before you arrive.

Is there a deposit?

No. There is no deposit and no prepayment. You pay $56 at the clinic on the day of your visit.

Can I nominate someone?

Yes — and we love when people do. Use the Nominate Someone form to tell us about a coworker, friend, or family member who deserves to be recognized. We'll reach out gently and let them decide if it's right for them.

Can I nominate myself?

Absolutely. If you're part of the group we're currently honoring, just complete the reservation form.

How do I reserve a spot?

Complete the short reservation form and choose the clinic closest to you. You'll be sent straight to that clinic's online scheduling page to pick your time, and our team will confirm.
