Conditions we treat
Work Injury Chiropractic Care in West Michigan
Hurt on the job? We evaluate, document and treat work injuries — lifting strains, repetitive stress and falls — across three West Michigan clinics.
West Michigan works with its hands. Manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare and trades all produce a predictable set of injuries: lifting strains, repetitive overuse, and falls. We treat them and document them properly so your claim doesn't become a second problem.
Symptoms we hear about
- Low back pain that started with a specific lift or twist
- Shoulder or elbow pain that built up over weeks of repetitive work
- Wrist and hand symptoms from tool use or vibration
- Pain that's worst by the end of a shift
- Inability to perform a specific job task without symptoms
What's usually driving it
Occupational injuries are either a single overload event or an accumulation problem. The accumulation cases are the ones people ignore longest: the same motion thousands of times per shift, with the tissue never getting enough recovery time. Joint restrictions elsewhere in the chain make the working tissue absorb even more.
How we treat work injuries
- 01Injury-specific exam with documentation appropriate for workers' compensation
- 02Adjusting and soft tissue therapy for the injured region and the compensating areas
- 03Decompression for disc-related lifting injuries; shockwave for chronic tendon overuse
- 04Work-task analysis and modification recommendations
- 05Return-to-work progression with objective strength and range benchmarks

A real evaluation — orthopedic, neurological and movement testing — so we know exactly what's generating your symptoms.
02
Report of findings
We tell you what we found, whether we can help, how long it should take, and what it costs. No open-ended plans.
03
Treat & rebuild
Adjustments plus the therapies your case actually needs, followed by the rehab that keeps it from coming back.
FAQ
Work Injuries: common questions
Does workers' comp cover chiropractic care?
In most cases yes. We'll help you understand the process and provide the documentation your employer or carrier requires.
Should I report it if it's minor?
Report it. Small unreported injuries that get worse are much harder to have covered later, and early care usually means a shorter recovery.
Can you help me stay at work?
That's the goal. Modified duty with the right restrictions usually beats full time off, both for your tissue and your paycheck.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
No. You can book directly with any of our three clinics in Zeeland, Portage or Norton Shores (Muskegon). If we think you need imaging or another provider, we'll tell you and help coordinate it.
Do you take insurance?
We're in-network with most major plans and we verify your benefits before your first adjustment so there are no surprises. Cash and payment-plan options are available too — see our insurance and payment FAQs.
How soon can I get in?
Most new patients are seen within a few days, not weeks. Book online for the clinic closest to you or call and we'll find the first available exam slot.
