Webster Technique & Pelvic Alignment in Zeeland, Portage & Muskegon
Webster-trained care for pelvic balance during pregnancy — supporting comfort, mobility and room for optimal fetal positioning.
Webster technique is a specific chiropractic assessment and adjustment for pregnant patients focused on sacral alignment and pelvic soft tissue balance. The goal is a pelvis that's balanced and mobile — comfortable for you, with room for baby to move into position.
Symptoms we hear about
- Pelvic pain or a feeling of being twisted or uneven
- Discomfort that's noticeably worse on one side
- Difficulty walking distances or standing on one leg
- A baby that's been reported as breech or transverse
- Tailbone pain with sitting
What's usually driving it
The sacrum sits between the two halves of your pelvis and anchors the ligaments that support the uterus. When it's misaligned or one SI joint is restricted, pelvic soft tissue tension becomes uneven. Balancing that is what Webster technique addresses — both for your comfort and for creating optimal room in the pelvis.

FAQ
Pelvic Alignment & Webster Technique: common questions
Does Webster technique turn a breech baby?
No — and any office claiming that is overstating it. Webster balances the pelvis and reduces soft tissue tension so there's optimal room for baby to move. Many parents pursue it for that reason, but we don't reposition babies.
How often should I come during pregnancy?
It varies. Many patients come every few weeks early on and more often in the third trimester. We'll build a schedule around your symptoms, not a template.
Is it comfortable this late in pregnancy?
Yes. Our tables and cushions are set up for pregnancy, and you'll never be asked to lie flat on your belly.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
No. You can book directly with any of our three clinics in Zeeland, Portage or Norton Shores (Muskegon). If we think you need imaging or another provider, we'll tell you and help coordinate it.
Do you take insurance?
We're in-network with most major plans and we verify your benefits before your first adjustment so there are no surprises. Cash and payment-plan options are available too — see our insurance and payment FAQs.
How soon can I get in?
Most new patients are seen within a few days, not weeks. Book online for the clinic closest to you or call and we'll find the first available exam slot.
